Vocabulary Gym Lite Privacy Policy
Plain Summary
The app is designed so normal study works on the device: word cards, static images, games, favorites, settings, and story-style revision do not require a Vocabulary Gym account.

Information Stored On The Device
The app stores the following locally on the user's device:
- Favorite words.
- Carousel and display settings.
- Animated clip pack state.
- Translation language preference and downloaded language-pack state where supported.
- Notification cadence and reminder time, if the user enables reminders.
- Local game or session state where needed.
This information is used only to make the app work for the learner on that device. The app does not create a cloud account for this data.
Network Use
The core vocabulary list, static images, local games, favorites, and settings are designed to work offline.
The app may use Google Play Asset Delivery to download optional animated clip packs. These packs replace or supplement still images with looping animated clips where available. Google Play handles delivery of those packs.
The app may use Google's on-device ML Kit translation components to download optional language packs when the user enables meaning translation. Translation is intended to run on device after the needed language pack is available.
Google Play and Google ML Kit may process technical, device, account, or network information under Google's own terms and privacy policy when providing their services. Vocabulary Gym Lite does not operate its own backend to receive learning history from those services.
The app does not use its own advertising SDK, analytics SDK, social SDK, or sign-in SDK.
Notifications
The app may offer optional vocabulary reminders. The user can choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Never, and can change the reminder time. On Android versions that require notification permission, the app requests that permission only when the user enables or tests reminders.
Reminder settings are stored locally. If the user chooses Never or turns reminders off, the app cancels scheduled reminders.
Support Emails
If a user chooses to send feedback or a bug report to support@myndreps.com, the message is handled as support communication. The user can review and edit the message before sending it.
The prepared message may include app version, Android version, device manufacturer/model, and the Feedback & bugs screen name. These details are shown to the user before another app is opened. The user may edit or remove them, and Vocabulary Gym Lite does not send them in the background.
Retention And Deletion
Local preferences remain on the device until the user changes them, clears app data, or uninstalls the app. Downloaded animated or translation packs remain until the user removes them, clears app data, or uninstalls the app.
Voluntary support messages are retained only as reasonably needed to respond, diagnose an issue, prevent abuse, maintain support records, or meet legal obligations. A user may request deletion of a support message by emailing support@myndreps.com. The request should identify the original message sufficiently for it to be found. Some information may be retained where required for legal, fraud-prevention, or security reasons.
Security
The app reduces privacy risk by avoiding accounts, advertising, analytics, cloud learning profiles, and background support uploads. Android and Google Play protections apply to app and optional-pack delivery. No device, storage system, email service, or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
What The App Does Not Do
Vocabulary Gym Lite does not:
- Require signup or login.
- Show ads.
- Sell user data.
- Include a subscription or purchase flow.
- Create public profiles.
- Include leaderboards or social feeds.
- Request location.
- Request contacts.
- Request photos, videos, or external storage for normal use.
Children
Vocabulary Gym Lite is intended for general vocabulary learning, especially exam-style English vocabulary practice. It is not designed as a child-directed app.
Changes To This Policy
If the app behavior changes, this policy should be updated before or at the same time as the app update. Examples include adding accounts, cloud sync, payments, analytics, ads, or a new support channel.
